Influential Person

The most influential person to me wouldn’t be any celebrity, but it would be my mother. She truly shows the aspect of an influential person because of the fact her strive for others, her work, the world, and better yet her family. She continues to better herself in the form that whilst going back to school she still makes sure to put us first. As being a nurse you truly need courage and compassion and those are just some of the traits she has. My mother has inspired me to be a better person by caring more for others, and even following in her footsteps of being a nurse! Throughout life she has always been there for so many people including myself, and everyone I know that comes in contact with her loves her because of her care for others and friends. Not even on her worst days will she ever make you feel unloved or wanted. She is always striving to be her best for herself and others in a form that she won’t give up. My mother is better than any celebrity or influential person out there, and will continue to be, she is my number one supporter, best friend, and literally my go-to person when in need I never feel like she will judge me nor will she defeat my goals within my lifetime. I am so lucky and proud to have her as my mother and so glad that I was raised in a way that I can be motivated to always accomplish my goals. Thank you mom for being the most influential person in my life, I hope I can be half the woman you are when I am older!

My family project.

As I got the pleasure of taking Emerging Technology this semester, it is sadly coming to an end. The last project we have gotten assigned to is our Family Heritage. This final we were assigned to is consisted of five smaller projects all put together of what we've learnt throughout this semester.

First, I had to gather my information so I typed up 25 questions. Those questions are found in the link: Nana's interview  Dads Interview

Next I sent emails to find out facts, pictures, and information about my family so I sent it out to my nana and my dad. Click here to see my email:Email.

To organize all of this we got to create an Family Echo, from the information I got from my family I gathered all the family members together an put it on this site. Take a look:Family Echo.

With this information I was able to create my Prezi and Infographic!


For the last part I am putting in the routine my whole family does before bed.. Bushes our teeth, goes and gets water, walks to there room, and goes to bed. Enjoy :)

My opinion on this video is that it was a very moving short video. It made me realize that the world is really coming to technology as its first source. There was actually an article the other day that i read about how a certain percent now go to their phones when walking because of self-confidence. We are all relying on our phones for support and help, if we could ask people and actually interact with people i would not only helping the long run but for our future relationships. Try it, put down your phone and face the world with your fiends by your side.

Read this blog post by a teacherblog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.

I think hearing this at the time of year from another teacher that is not my own is very motivating to finish my year off strong and greatly by getting what i need done. No matter what i am going to strive, because this teacher believes in me, and quite frankly i believe in myself. This is not a 4 year school, this is the rest of our life's, what i'm saying is we will be learning forever.. So why give up now just because "schools about to end" or summer is here. No never give up, because this life gives us so many great opportunities why ditch them to be "cool" or "popular?" Be you because i know around 80-90% of you reading this want to have a bright future, and we wont be able to have that if we give up now, because that'll lead us to fail again and again. The teacher that wrote this is telling us that i upsets him and mostly other teachers when they see us give up, because to them the want to see you fly by in life the good way, the smart way, the bright way. This is all for you, they're teaching not only because they love it its because they love you. When we give up we're showing them failure. The main event to me is a motivation to not give up and to keep on going, because if we give up now we wont be going far their are many more challenges in life to face to give up now.

A stop motion animation is a cinematic process, or technique used to makes static objects appear as if they were moving. This technique is commonly used in claymation and puppet-based.

Tell me about your 5 frame storyboard. What did you like about the project? What did you dislike? Was it hard to fit a story in to 5 images? Do you think you tell a clear story? What would you do differently if you could? Explain

My 5 frame story included myself going/getting ready for the gym. What i liked is the way you can tell what's happening without writing an actual story. What I disliked is it was only 5 pictures, in my opinion i think we should've had more pictures than that to get into better detail. In my storyboard i feel you can defiantly figure out my story easily,and its in detail also easy to follow. I wouldn't do anything differently next time besides making a better rubric and adding more detail to the boxes. Overall, I'm quite happy with my storyboard
